Dad does my hair is a Advocacy building non profit. This all started with a daughter and a dream. Now we’re supported through private funding and proceeds from website sales. Through Dad Does My Hair, we will share our experiences; pinpointing the life changing moments.
This is a place to talk about those life changing moments and provide healthy solutions through discussion and demonstration. Resources will be provided as well to seek is all to seek additional knowledge. There will be no website tracking. We do not wish to to track my customers nor seller customers information.
Our goal is to help others. We thank you. We also, ask you, for your business and support. This is about change. Creating not just lifelong memories but lifelong smiles.
About John Paul
My name is John Paul Mugford. I was asked to write a bio for the page and the only thing that came to mind was my main purpose in life and that is to be Loving father. But it is more than that! It is about the journey of self discovery. Only you know who you are and I know who I am. I had to put the work in to become the "Loving Father" I am today.
To look at myself was the most difficult part and it was not easy. As my relationship with my daughter developed I noticed old and new learned behavior. It was my subconscious doing what it needed to do to protect itself. The problem was I didn't need protection. My daughter didi! I had to look at why I was behaving the way I was. I looked at my belief system, trauma from that past and the trauma I had been causing every sense inside of myself, hence placing that subconscious fear on the little girl I loved that most.
I had to identify with the person I wanted to be, yet never met! That was me! the father and the man I am today! I am the parent I am today.
I decided to share this experience and offer healthy solutions to an ever growing disconnect.
I ask you to join us on our journey to freedom. take the opportunity to do the right thing and be that person you are meant to be.
There will be no judgment here, only experiences that we grow and learn from.
